cOMBO – Kayak avec les Otaries + Sandwich Harbour – Full Day
(8h30-17h00)

The Kayak Combo is the perfect blend of our morning kayaking excursion at Pelican Point and a thrilling 4×4 adventure in the Namib Naukluft Park, including the spectacular dunes of Sandwich Harbour.
The day begins at 8:30 AM with kayaking. We’ll take you to Pelican Point to paddle alongside a colony of playful seals and, if you’re lucky, even spot some dolphins!
Enjoy a scenic drive along the lagoon, passing the shimmering salt pans. Along the way, we stop to admire and photograph the beautiful flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants that call this unique area home.
At Pelican Point, thousands of seals await you. Within minutes, our stable and comfortable kayaks are ready to glide through the calm waters. The seals, curious and playful, swim all around — some even come close enough to touch!
Paddling through this lively colony, with the ocean as your backdrop, is a magical experience. A moment of pure joy, perfect for nature lovers.
Around 12:30 PM, we’ll take you on a journey to Sandwich Harbour, experiencing an exciting 4×4 adventure through the Namib Naukluft Park, where some of the highest dunes in the world meet the Atlantic Ocean — a breathtaking sight you’ll never forget.
Your 4×4 vehicles will be waiting to pick you up after kayaking and take you on to Sandwich Harbour.
Your adventure to Sandwich Harbor begins with a stop at Walvis Bay Lagoon to spot the flamingos. Let’s continue and drive to the delta of the Kuiseb River passing by the salt flats of Walvis Bay. Sandwich Harbor Lagoon is a Ramsar site and we always try to access it from the beach. It depends on the tides and swell. If this is not possible, we will try to find a nice spot for an elevated view of the Sandwich Harbor lagoon.
We will make several stops to admire the view and take wonderful pictures.
Your guide will find you a nice place sheltered from the wind to have a little picnic. Drinks and snacks platter are included.
During the tour you may have the chance to observe animals such as black-backed jackal, springbok, oryx, ostrich, fog beetle, dancing spider (“white lady of the Namib”), seals on the beach and gecko. The Lagoon and the salt pans are home to a wide variety of birds.
